Celestine Rosé

Our Rosé is inspired by the real life love story of Celestine and Philippe Noisette, our founder’s ancestors - whose love literally broke the bondages of slavery during antebellum Charleston, South Carolina.

In the gardening world, Philippe is known for introducing the Noisette Rose, a sweet smelling rose that flourishes in tropical climates (much like our mermaids). In our family, Philippe is most known for successfully arranging the freedom of Celestine, his Black wife, and mixed children in an epic love tale that honors Celestine’s strength and sacrifice as the family matriarch. It is only fitting that Celestine also have her own Rosé.

We handcraft our Premium wines in the coastal range of Oregon where the Pacific Ocean maritime air currents shape flavor profiles. Our sea-kissed wines make Mermosa The Official Wine of Boats, Brunch and Beaches.
