On Saturday, Feb 13 2021 we celebrated GALentine's Day with a virtual brunch cooking class featuring Chef Melanie Cuartelon. With folks attending from near and far - Alaska, New York, North Carolina, Texas, Florida, Oregon and more - this was by far the BEST (and most delicious!) GALentine's day yet.
Chef Mel walked us through SIMPLE yet beautiful and delicious recipes that pair perfectly with Mermosa Bubbles. What a treat to learn from Chef Mel, Sous Chef at Sawgrass Marriott Resort & Spa. She is a second generation Filipino American born and raised in North Florida. Her passion for the kitchen stems from her mother and her grandmother. Seeing them cook and bring joy to others through food brightened Melanie's eyes, knowing she would be no more than 10 feet away from a kitchen!
